Copa going steady, offers flights to unexplored destinations

Copa Holdings, the parent company of Copa Airlines has a treat for its customers. The Panama based carrier offers service to many unexplored and exotic locations within the country. It operates flights to thin routes offering a chance to discover the beautiful side of hidden Latin America.

The airline carries less than 20 passengers on about three-quarters of its flights to small and medium airports throughout Central and South America. It is capitalizing on the vacuum left behind by the bigger airlines. Passengers flying on Copa Airlines tickets can delve in the heart of stunning treasures hidden inside Latin America. The airline in return is charging bulky fees from its customers and making good profits.

The airline operates service to nine destinations in the United States. It recently added Tampa and Boston to its itinerary. It believes in adding flights on existing routes than establishing new routes for business purposes.

The airline has been posting steady earnings. The company that went public in 2005 has been showing a growth in EPS. In the last two quarters, the airline has recorded a growth of 37 percent and 45 percent respectively. It expects to post an 18 percent increase in the earnings this quarter and 28 percent increase in earnings this year. The carrier also anticipates to record 21 percent growth in the year 2014.
