A planned and unincorporated territory of the United States of America, Guam is located in the Pacific Ocean. One of the largest of the Mariana Islands, Guam is one of those five US territories that have their own civilian government.

Guam has a tropical marine climate which translates to hot and humid temperatures. January and February are the coolest months. The wet season is experienced from July till November. In fact October and November are not the best months to be spent here as this is when typhoons tend to visit the island. The principal contributors to the island’s economy are first, tourism and second, the US military. The southern parts especially paint a very scenic picture of quaint villages and thundering waterfalls. If you move toward the northern areas of the island, where the US military is based, you can find cerulean waters lapping at the shores of the golden beaches.
