Cheap Tickets to Hong Kong

Hong Kong is unlike any other city on Earth. For 100 years, it was a British colony, and those imperial influences still show in small ways all throughout the bustling city. But Hong Kong also has a rich culture that is uniquely its own. When you get cheap tickets to Hong Kong, you’re getting a great deal on an adventure of a lifetime. From crowded street markets to delicious dim sum restaurants to soaring skyscrapers, you’ll be amazed wherever you go.

Best things to do in Hong Kong
There are so many attractions in Hong Kong worth checking out that you’ll have to pick and chose which appeal to you the most. Here are a few of the most popular Hong Kong attractions:

  • # Lantau Island: You’ll find a bit of everything on Lantau Island. Massive shopping centers, theme parks, hiking trails and even buddhist monasteries. There are so many things to do here, you could easily spend your whole trip without leaving the island.
  • # Victoria Peak: Want to get the best view of the city? Hiking up Victoria Peak is the best way to see everything. Plus, the mountain is easily accessible by train, taxi or bus.
  • # Victoria Harbour: The port brings goods and people from all over the world into Hong Kong. You can take a day cruise on a luxury ship, island hop using the ferries, or just sit by the dockside and watch the massive ships come and go.
  • # Ocean Park: At this ocean-themed park, you can ride roller coasters, hang out with seafaring mammals and take in a stunning show.
  • # Hong Kong Disneyland: The happiest place on Earth can also be found in Hong Kong. Hang out with Mickey and his friends and watch the fireworks explode over Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
  • # Happy Valley: If you want to see how the rich and famous of Hong Kong live, check out Happy Valley, an upper-class neighborhood with a horse track, racing museum and more.
  • # Avenue of Stars: Hong Kong is often thought of as the Hollywood of the east. At the Avenue of Stars, you’ll find statues of famous actors such as Bruce Lee and Anita Mui. There are also exhibitions, painting, photographs and plaques. It’s a must-see for movie buffs.

What to Eat When You’re in Town
Hong Kong has some out-of-this-world cuisine. You’d be remiss not to try a bit of everything on your next visit. Traditional dim sum is a must-have - consider chowing down on some steamed pork buns, egg cakes and rice noodles. And since you’re on the ocean, you’ll have to eat some fresh fresh. Some local restaurants lets you pick out your own fish before they cook it! Other great options include roasted goose, deep fried fish balls, baby squid and Asian twists on the classic English breakfast.

Where to Stay
Hong Kong may seem small, but there’s actually quite a lot of diversity between neighborhoods and among the islands. If you’re wondering where you should book your hotel, it’ll depend on what you want to see and do. For instance, if you’re taking your family to Disneyland, you’ll want to stay on Lantau Island, where you’ll also have access to many other attractions. If you want to spend most of your trip exploring traditional Chinese culture, then Kowloon is the place to stay. Should you choose to stay on Hong Kong Island, you’ll have access to European inspired neighborhoods, large public parks and the towering financial district.
