British carrier easyJet launches Tel Aviv-Manchester flights

British low-cost carrier easyJet recently announced it has launched flights between Tel Aviv and Manchester. The airline in a statement said that easyJet flights began operating twice every week, on Mondays and Thursdays, between the two destinations.

The airline became the first low-cost carrier to enter into the Israeli market ever since it starting operating its flights services here in November 2009. The airline stated that its customers got the opportunity to book easyJet flights tickets for its first service between London’s Luton and Tel Aviv. The airline said that it has been facing high demand from its customers since the launch of services on this route.

Currently, easyJet is operating its flights to London, Geneva, Manchester and Basel from Tel Aviv. The airline has until now carried over 590,000 passengers to/from Israel to these key destinations.

The airline has also expressed its desire to begin more flights services to additional destinations in Europe mainland from Tel Aviv.
