Emirates Airline becomes first carrier to launch in-flight mobile phone services on A380

Passengers booking Emirates Airline flights tickets can now look forward to avail make use of their mobile phones to connect with their acquaintances while onboard their flights on Airbus A380 aircraft.

Emirates Airline recently announced it has now become the first carrier in the world to offer in-flight mobile phone services on an Airbus A380 aircraft.

The airline in a statement said that the new in-flight mobile phone services will be in addition to the existing OnAir WiFi services being provided on A380 aircrafts operated by the airline.

The airline has started the new service in partnership with OnAir mobile service provider. The customers booking Emirates Airline flights will be able to use their mobile phones to make and receive calls and stay in touch with their acquaintances. With the help of this service, the passengers will also be able to send text messages from their mobile phones while traveling on an A380 aircraft in-flight, in the same way as they would use their mobile phones on the ground.
