Emirates Airline boosting capacity to Malta

Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates Airline recently announced it has boosted its capacity to Malta because of the growing interest of the travelers to the Mediterranean island.
 
The airline in a statement said that the capacity on Emirates Airline flights to Malta being operated on a daily basis is set to increase due to the increasing travel demand.

Earlier, the Dubai-based carrier had been operating an Airbus A330 aircraft between Dubai International Airport and Malta International Airport, via Larnaca in Cyprus.

However, Emirates Airline upgraded the service on the route and started operating flights with the help of an Airbus A340 aircraft from early October this year.

The airline, however, said that with Emirates Airlines flights tickets continuing to be sold out on the route, a Boeing 777 aircraft would also be deployed to offer services starting from February 1, 2013.
  
With a Boeing 777 aircraft being pressed into services from February next year, the airline would be offering addition 60 seats in economy class on Dubai-Malta route.
