Emirates Airline launched daily A380 nonstop service to Melbourne

Emirates Airline recently announced the launch of its daily nonstop flight services to Melbourne and said that it has further strengthened its commitment to both New Zealand and Australia.

The airline in a statement said that the launch of daily nonstop Emirates Airline flights to Melbourne utilizing an Airbus A380 aircraft will also offer services onto Auckland.

Salem Obaid Allah, Emirates Airline’s Senior Vice-President - Commercial Operations Far East & Australasia, said that the launch of daily A380 nonstop flights has significantly increased Melbourne’s capacity on the Auckland and Dubai sectors by above 500 seats per day.

He said that the increased capacity is expected to boost trade and tourism between the UAE, New Zealand and Australia.

Emirates Airline is also scheduled to launch additional A380 flights on various international routes, including Singapore and Moscow. The flights are to be launched starting from December 1, 2012.
