Emirates Airline upgrades Dubai-Glasgow service

Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates Airline recently announced it has upgraded its flights services between Dubai International Airport and Glasgow Airport in Scotland.

The airline in a statement said that Emirates Airline flights from Glasgow to Dubai will now be operated with the help of a 364-seat Boeing 777 aircraft. This will be the second flight service between the two cities.
 
According to the airline, Emirates Airline flights tickets are now available for the new service commencing from January 1, 2013. Earlier, the airline had been operating flights on Dubai-Glasgow route with the help of Airbus A340-300 aircraft. This has now been replaced by a Boeing 777 aircraft.

The airline said that the upgraded service will now offer an additional 650 seats every week to the customers. The new aircraft will also accommodate an extra 70 tonnes of cargo.

Laurie Berryman, Emirates Airline’s Vice President for the UK, said that the upgraded service would be beneficial for the customers in Glasgow as well as for the Scottish economy. He said that the service has been upgraded because of the success of the second daily flight between Dubai and Glasgow.
