Emirates Airline weekly flights to Cairo increased

Emirates Airline flights have been increased to Cairo to 13 per week. The airline recently announced it has taken this step in view of the continuous surge in passenger and cargo demand from Egypt to the UAE.

The airline in a statement said that additional Emirates Airline flight is taking off for Dubai from Cairo since March 30, 2012, with a return flight the same day.

Saeed Khalifa Bin Sulaiman, Emirates Airline’s manager in Egypt, said that there had been a decline in the number of flights to Cairo since the 18-day uprising in January 2011 that battered Egypt’s economy.

The flight services to Cairo have been fully restored now, with additional flights taking off since March this year.

With the start of the additional flights the travelers from Egypt will be offered more choices to the UAE. The additional frequencies will prove beneficial for both business and leisure travelers to Dubai, and help them seamlessly connect with the airline’s extensive global network, which includes 120 destinations in 72 countries.
