Emirates direct flights to Seattle from Dubai launched

Emirates recently launched its flights to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport from Dubai. Emirates flights to Seattle is the first direct air service between America’s Northwest and the Middle East.

The inaugural flight took off from Dubai on March 1, 2012. The airline has deployed a Boeing 777 aircraft to serve Dubai-Seattle route.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, who traveled on the inaugural flight, along with other UAE officials and government dignitaries, said that the new service is expected further strengthen the relations between United States and the UAE and boost trade ties between the UAE and Seattle Metropolitan region.

Emirates nonstop flights will also help in supporting Seattle’s flourishing export trade and will be serving as one of the largest cargo hubs in the world at Dubai International Airport.
