Etihad Airways wins Best Long-haul Airline Award

United Arab Emirates (UAE) national flag carrier Etihad Airways recently announced it has won ‘Best Long-haul Airline’ honours at the recently held 15th annual Travel Magazine Awards ceremony held at Antwerp in Belgium.

Etihad Airways has for the first time been declared winner in ‘Best Long-haul Airline’ category at the prestigious Belgian travel industry award.

Etihad Airways flights performed exceedingly well beating five other long-haul carriers operating to/from Brussels International Airport during a tough contest.

The airline was adjudged as the best by a judging panel consisting of nearly 400 Belgian travel industry professionals, travel agencies, tour operators, cruise lines and airlines.

Peter Baumgartner, Chief Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, expressed delight over the airline winning this prestigious title. He said that it is a proud moment for Etihad Airways proving itself to be the airline of choice for long-haul customers traveling to/from Brussels. He further stated that Brussels is strategically important market for the airline.
