Nairobi is famous for its cold beer ‘Tusker’. Tourists and fashionable drinkers simply revel in gulping down the ubiquitous local brew at many bars in the city. You can also enjoy sipping ‘Tusker’ at the popular Moroccan-themed bar ‘Casablanca’, which is situated on Lenana Road. The Lord Delamere Terrace at Norfolk Hotel is also a favorite haunt for tourists enjoying a safari.

You can also consider visiting the Karen Blixen Museum. It’s a must-see attraction for most tourists visiting Nairobi. The museum was formerly home to the renowned Danish author of the memoir ‘Out of Africa’. He stayed here from 1917 to 1931. A 1985 Oscar-winning movie was also shot on the grounds of the Karen Blixen Museum.

For those who have an appetite for gastronomy, visiting the open-air Carnivore restaurant is a ritual. This unique restaurant is famous around the world for its meat offerings.
