Frontier Airlines begins Denver-Great Falls flights service

Frontier Airlines flights have now entered Great Falls market. The airline recently announced the launch of its flights from Denver to the Great Falls International Airport. The 99-seat Embraer aircraft began operations from May 14, 2012.

The inaugural flight departed from Denver at 8.05 am and arrived at Great Falls to a traditional water cannon salute signaling the launch of the new route.

Frontier Airlines has several different animals painted on the tails of its aircrafts featuring the slogan “A whole different animal”. The first flight, which touched Great Falls International Airport, featured a hummingbird tail prompting Jim Morin, Chairman of Great Falls Airport Authority, to say “Let’s hope Frontier keeps humming along on this flight.”

The airline in a statement said that the flights between Great Falls International Airport and Denver International Airport will be operated four times ever week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, until late September this year.
