Frontier Airlines extending seasonal nonstop Harrisburg-Denver flights through October

Frontier Airlines recently announced it will be extending its nonstop seasonal flights services between Harrisburg and Denver through October this year.

The airline in a statement said that Frontier Airlines flights from Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania to its hub at Denver International Airport will be extended through October 27, 2012. The thrice-weekly flights between these two cities were launched on May 24, 2012.

Frontier Airlines is the only carrier that serves Harrisburg-Denver route with nonstop flights. It is also the only airline offering flights services to the West from Harrisburg.

The airline will be operating seasonal nonstop flights on Harrisburg-Denver route with the help of Airbus 319 aircraft, with a 138-seat capacity.

Timothy J. Edwards, Executive Director of Harrisburg International Airport, said that the extended seasonal service is a welcome move by Frontier Airlines. He said that Frontier Airlines flights to Denver and Orlando has been warmly received by the customers and the extension of seasonal service shows the airline’s commitment to the Harrisburg region.
