Frontier Airlines nonstop Denver-New York service expansion from March

Frontier Airlines recently announced that it will be expanding its nonstop flights to New York from Denver in 2012.

Denver-hubbed Frontier Airlines revealed its expansion plans for its nonstop service from Denver International Airport (DIA) to New York’s LaGuardia airport. The airline said that it will start offering three flights in each direction between DIA and LaGuardia beginning March 25 daily, except Saturday and Sunday.

The airline disclosed that initially it will operate two eastbound flights on Saturdays and two westbound flights on Sundays. Later on, Frontier Airlines plans to add one more nonstop flight in each direction daily except Saturdays from April 16.

Frontier Airlines is offering discounted airfares starting at US$99 one-way to promote the Denver-New York route. This offer can be availed by booking cheap tickets to New York from Denver by up till January 1, 2012. The travel period on the offer ends on May 20, 2012.
