Frontier Airlines offering onboard Wi-Fi on its flights

Frontier Airlines has now started offering passengers onboard Wi-Fi on its Enabler 190 fleet. To mark the launch, the airline will be providing its passengers with free Wi-Fi for 30 minutes throughout the remaining of February.

The introduction of onboard Wi-Fi on Embraer fleet by the airline is aimed at improving the flying experience, and making the travel more comfortable and easy for passengers as far as possible.

The passengers are also being offered a chance to win free onboard Wi-Fi for a year by visiting Frontier Airlines’ Facebook page.

According to the airline, the cost of Wi-Fi for laptops will be $4.95 on flights up to 650 miles long, $9.95 for flights from 651 to 1,150 miles long, and $12.95 for flights 1,151 miles and longer. However, for mobile devices the cost will be $4.95 for flights up to 650 miles and $7.95 for flights 651 miles and longer. Besides, passengers also have the option to buy 15 minutes of access for $1.95 on flights up to 650 miles long.

Frontier Airlines, which has its main hub in Denver, is currently operating flights to more than 80 destinations in the US, Costa Rica and Mexico.
