Frontier Airlines operations back to Bush Intercontinental from Houston Hobby

Frontier Airlines flights will now again be operated out of the George Bush Intercontinental Airport as the airline is shifting its operations from Houston’s William P. Hobby airport effective July 11, 2012.

The airline said in a statement that George Bush Intercontinental Airport is Houston’s primary airport. This decision has been taken based on strong customer feedback.

David Siegel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Airlines, said that the airline is confident that its customers will appreciate the convenience and flexibility with the operations being once again moved back to Houston’s primary airport.

Siegel said that being the only domestic low-cost carrier at George Bush Intercontinental airport, the passengers will be able to take the advantage of cheap Frontier Airlines flights tickets being offered here.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport is located 23 miles north of downtown Houston. It offers the most flights of any Houston-area airport, including nonstop service to Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America on Frontier Airline’s interline partners.
