Frontier Airlines to resume Harrisburg-Denver flights May 1

Frontier Airlines recently announced it has decided to resume its flights services to Denver during summer next year.

The airline in a statement said that it will be resuming Frontier Airlines flights services between Denver and Harrisburg International Airport. The flights would begin operations starting from May 1, 2013.

Earlier, Frontier Airlines had stopped its flights services to Denver from October 27, 2012. The airline, however, said that it considers Denver as its third top summer destination from Harrisburg International Airport, and has therefore decided to resume the flights in time for the 2013 vacation season.

Tim Edwards, Executive Director of Harrisburg International Airport, said that the airport is extremely pleased that Frontier Airlines would be resuming its thrice weekly nonstop flights to Denver from Harrisburg and offer affordable travel options to the customers.
 
Edwards, however, said that Harrisburg International Airport would be projecting nearly 3 percent drop in passenger traffic for 2013 because there would be fewer flights operating out of the airport in the first three months of the new year.
