Frontier Airlines to stop Knoxville-Denver flights in December

Frontier Airlines flights tickets between Knoxville and Denver will not be available to the passengers during the winter months this year. The airline recently announced that it is planning to adjust its flight schedule for Denver flights in December.

A spokesperson for Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport said in a statement that Frontier Airlines flights have fewer passengers during the cold winter months and the airline has, therefore, decided to make adjustments to its flight schedule accordingly.

Frontier Airlines disclosed that it will start tapering its flights services between Knoxville and Denver this fall and will be stopping them completely from December 9, 2012.

The airline further revealed that it will only be temporarily suspending its flight operations between the two cities during the winter months, and plans to resume the flight services again in the spring when the passenger demand becomes strong.

Apart from flights between Denver and Knoxville, Frontier Airlines is also operating flights between Knoxville and Orlando. The airline said that it is going to continue with its flights to Orlando without any hindrances.
