No Frontier Airlines Allentown-Orlando flights from April 7

US airline operator Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. recently announced that it would be suspending Frontier Airlines flights services between Allentown and Orlando from April next year.

Frontier Airlines, which is owned by Republic Airways Holdings, Inc., has revealed that it would stop operating its nonstop flights service between Orlando International Airport and Lehigh Valley International Airport effective from April 7, 2013.

The US airline operator indicated that Frontier Airlines flights tickets would no longer be available to its customers after April 7 as the flights on Allentown-Orlando route are being suspended because of high fuel and operating costs.

Greg Aretakis, Frontier Airline’s Vice President – Network and Revenue, said that the flight operations at Lehigh Valley International Airport have now become impossible because of the increasing fuel and other operating costs.

He said that operating flights services between Allentown and Orlando have increasingly become difficult and the airline is unable to offer tickets at competitive rates.
