Garuda Indonesia resumes flights to Taipei from Jakarta

Indonesia’s national carrier Garuda Indonesia recently announced the re-launch of its flights services between the Indonesian capital Jakarta and Taiwanese capital Taipei. Garuda Indonesia flights to Taipei has been re-introduced after eight years.

The airline in a statement said that it will operate daily flights services on Jakarta-Taipei route with the help of B737-800 NGs configured with two classes having a total seating capacity of 156 passengers – 12 seats in Business Class and 144 seats in Economy Class.

Bagus Y. Siregar, Vice President for Garuda Indonesia Australia/SWP, said that the reinstatement of the Jakarta-Taipei service is part of the airline’s ongoing network expansion and reflects its commitment to constantly improve the services.

Garuda Indonesia also recently launched new direct daily flights to Taipei from Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The flights are aimed at providing Australian passengers with more choice and convenience when connecting to the airline’s vast Asian network.

The airline had earlier this year launched new flights services on various international routes including Denpasar-Haneda, Taipei-Denpasar and Taipei-Singapore-Surabaya.
