Gulf Air introduces mobile check-in

Bahrain’s national flag carrier Gulf Air recently announced the launch of its mobile check-in service. The airline in a statement said that passengers booking Gulf Air flights tickets will find it more convenient in boarding their flights.

The airline said that the launch of mobile check-in service will enable its customers to take the help of their internet-enabled mobile devices to check-in 24 hours in advance until 90 minutes prior to their Gulf Air flights departure.

Explaining about the mobile check-in process, the airline said that the customers will be required to log on to Gulf Air’s website through their internet-enabled mobile phones, enter booking details, choose their seats and confirm.

The airline further stated that after the customers are through with their mobile check-in process, a barcode will instantly appear on their mobile screens and can be displayed at the boarding gate after immigration checks are completed.

According to Gulf Air, the mobile check-in facility will now be available in Bahrain, Paris, Larnaca, London, Frankfurt, Dubai, Doha and Copenhagen.
