Hawaiian Airlines launches nonstop daily New York City-Honolulu flights

Hawaiian Airlines recently launched its daily nonstop flights services between New York City and Honolulu. This is the first-ever nonstop service between the two cities.

The inaugural Hawaiian Airlines flights landed at Honolulu from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on June 5, 2012. The passengers booking Hawaiian Airlines flights tickets and traveling to Honolulu from New York JFK were greeted with Hula and live Hawaiian music.

Hawaiian Airlines in a statement said that its new codeshare partner JetBlue Airways has helped it expand its reach in the Eastern U.S. Both the carriers have also entered into frequent flyer reciprocity agreements.

The airline also stated that it has started placing its code on select JetBlue Airways-operated flights throughout the East Coast. According to Hawaiian Airlines, the customers of each carrier’s frequent flyer program will be able to earn and redeem loyalty points or miles for travel on either airline.
