Hawaiian Airlines to begin nonstop Honolulu-Auckland flights from March 2013

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced it will be launching nonstop flights services between the Hawaii Islands and New Zealand from March next year.
The airline in a statement said Hawaiian Airlines flights will begin nonstop operations between Honolulu and Auckland starting from March 14, 2013.

The airline will be operating the flights between the two cities three times every week. Hawaiian Airlines is the only U.S. carrier to start flights services to New Zealand.

According to the airline, a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft offering a total of 264 seats will be deployed on the new Honolulu-Auckland route.
 
The airline said that it will be primarily targeting the leisure market and will be offering 18 business class seats on the new route. The airline further stated that it will be adding above 40,000 seats each way annually between these two cities.

Auckland International Airport officials said that customers taking Hawaiian Airlines flights will be offered the benefit of carrying two free checked baggage, each weighing up to 32 kg.
