Hawaiian Airlines Reports Record Passenger Increase In 2012

Hawaiian Airlines has grown rapidly in the year 2012. And this growth has been visible also in its passenger data. The airline in 2012 saw a passenger increase of 9.4 percent with a total of 9.5 million passengers as compared to 2011’s 8.7 million passengers.

Hawaiian Airlines flights saw a growth of 20.4 percent to 12.2 million from 10.2 million in revenue passenger miles. And even the available seat miles increased from 12 million to 14.7 million resulting in a 22 percent in increase.

The state’s flag carrier apart from adding seat capacity, bigger and better aircrafts to its fleet had also added a total of 4 routes (both mainland and international).
