Horizon Air continues to be top U.S. carrier for on-time performance

Passengers booking Horizon Air flights tickets appear to be satisfied with the airline’s performance, particularly with their prompt arrivals on various U.S. airports.

Media reports recently said that Horizon Air continues to remain as the top carrier in the United States for on-time performance. The reports said that nearly 94 percent of Horizon Air flights arrived on time.

According to reports, Horizon Air had a 93.84 percent on-time performance for August this year. Hawaiian Airlines was in the second position with 91.46 percent on-time performance. Copa Airlines with a 90.62 percent on-time arrival came third, while Alaska Airlines stood fourth with 88.82 percent on-time performance.

The media reports further stated that the national average for on-time arrival performance was 74.87 percent for all airlines in August this year.
 
The reports also provided details regarding on-time departure performance in August. Salt Lake City Airport at 88.85 percent came first. Minneapolis airport stood second with 87.66 percent. Portland airport was placed in the third position with 87.32 percent, while Seattle-Tacoma International Airport stood fourth at 86.97 percent.
