Iberia Airlines and British Airways extend codeshare flights offer

Iberia Airlines recently announced it has expanded its codeshare arrangements with British Airways. The airline said in a statement that Iberia Airlines flights to Entebbe, Uganda from Madrid or Barcelona via London can now be booked by the passengers. Leading Spanish carrier Iberia Airlines has now a strong presence in 27 African cities.

According to the airline, British Airways will be able to travel on Iberia Airlines flights to Bogotá, Colombia under BA codes.

Ever since the merger of both the carriers, Iberia Airlines code has been added to British Airways flights to/from Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Doha, Bahrain, Muscat, Jeddah and Riyadh in the Middle East; Dar Es Salaam, Accra, Lusaka and Cape Town in Africa; Sydney, Australia; and Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi in India.

Similarly, new codeshare arrangements will also allow British Airways passengers to book flights to more Latin American destinations, including San José de Costa Rica, Panama City, Guatemala City, San Salvador, Santiago de Chile, Caracas, Montevideo, as well as Santo Domingo.
