Iberia Airlines cabin crew to be equipped with iPads

The senior cabin crew on Iberia Airlines flights will now be equipped with iPads for better services.

The Spanish carrier recently announced it will be providing its senior cabin crew with iPad devices on the similar lines of its merger partner British Airways. The airline has decided to implement this in order to provide best services to its customers.

According to the airline, the iPads will have passenger data stored on them. The data will include loyalty program membership status and meal requests.

Iberia Airlines will also be equipping more than 600 pursers with the tablets.

Last year, Iberia Airlines’ merger partner British Airways had started providing its senior cabin crew with iPads.

British Airways also recently launched a “Know Me” program to conduct searches about its customers on Google and Facebook in order to know them better and recognize then instantly on their arrivals, including their previous flying history and preferences.
