Iberia Airlines receives a water cannon salute

Iberia Airlines, national carrier of Spain, received a warm welcome through water cannon when it reached Chicago O’Hare Airport.

In order to commemorate 15th anniversary of Iberia’s Madrid-Chicago route water cannon salute was offered as a tribute. The airline provides direct flights between the city pair. The executives of Iberia as a reciprocation of the salute announced upgrade of its service. This upgrade will be offered on this route with new economy and business class seats.

At present Madrid-Chicago flight is operated using Airbus 330 aircraft. This aircraft offers 36 fully flat seats in business class cabin with each seat extending to nearly 80 inches and having direct aisle access. The business class cabin area features new in-flight entertainment system; mood lighting that changes color during boarding, takeoff, cruising, and landing; and more spacious stowage space. The in-flight entertainment system comes preloaded with ample amount of video games, music, films, and TV series.

The seats in economy class are wider and are designed ergonomically. In addition, the economy class section now boasts of a new in-flight entertainment system that will make the journey more enjoyable.

Seats across all classes have been fitted with a USB port and a port for Apple gadgets. Internet access via Wi-Fi is also available for all its travelers flying on a long-distance flight.

US passengers flying on Iberia Airlines from Chicago O’Hare Airport can connect to 13 destinations in Africa and Middle East; 32 in Spain, and 37 in Europe while flying to Madrid Barajas International Airport.
