Icelandair flights to feature Icelandic singer Bjork forthcoming album

Icelandair has announced that all its flights are going to prominently feature Icelandic singer Bjork’s new album titled Biophilia as part of its in-flight entertainment. The album was released recently on October 10, 2011, and has been made available onboard all the flights of the airline since October 1, 2011.

Gudmundur Oskarsson, Director of Marketing & Business Development of Icelandair said that it was a matter of great honor and pride to offer the passengers Bjork’s Biophilia album as part of the airline’s in-flight entertainment.

Many people had shown keen eagerness and been waiting in anticipation to hear Bjork’s album, who is currently among the foremost artists in the world. 

Bjork is due to perform at Iceland Airwaves music festival to be held twice this year. The musical performance will be alongside other 7 intimate shows to be organized at the newly opened concert hall in Reykjavik.

The ace Icelandic singer Bjork will give her performances along with a choir of 24 girls and unique musical collaborators. The musical performances will be based on new songs from the Biophilia album as well as music from her back catalogue.
