Icelandair increasing flights to Glasgow early next year

Iceland’s national flag carrier Icelandair recently disclosed it will increase its flights services to Glasgow in Scotland.
 
Icelandair flights to Glasgow are to be increased early next year from its gateways in U.S. and Canada.

The airline in a statement said that its scheduled flights services to Glasgow will be increased with additional flight on Fridays every week starting from March 15, 2013.

With the additional flights on Fridays to Glasgow, the passengers will now get opportunity to conveniently connect to Scotland via Icelandair, to be operated four times every week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The additional flights to Glasgow will help passengers booking Icelandair flights tickets from the airline’s North American gateways including Boston, New York, Halifax, Toronto and Seattle to reach Scotland.

Icelandair recently celebrated 75 years of aviation. The airline currently offers flights to Iceland from New York JFK, Seattle, Boston and Denver.
