Icelandair recognized as most punctual airline in Europe for September

European travelers booking Icelandair flights tickets to various international destinations have expressed satisfaction with the services being provided by the airline in terms of punctuality.

The Association of European Airlines recently published a report acknowledging Icelandair as the Most Punctual Airline for international flights in Europe for the month of September 2012.

The report outlined that the long-haul Icelandair flights reached their destinations punctually in September. With its 92.5 percent on time performance, Icelandair has emerged as the most punctual of all airlines operating flights on international routes.

According to the report, Icelandair also emerged at the top among European carriers in the categories of medium and short haul flights with on time performance of 93.9 percent.

The report stated that taking into account the on time performance of 25 international airlines, Icelandair flights with its 93.5 percent on time performance attained the top position.
