Icelandair resuming seasonal service from Minneapolis May 15

Icelandair flights will again start flying from Minneapolis this May. The airline recently announced it will again resume seasonal service from Minneapolis starting May 15, 2012.

Iceland’s national carrier said in a statement that the resuming of Icelandair flights from Minneapolis is a part of its 2012 seasonal flights schedule.

The airline disclosed that the flights will depart Minneapolis at 6.30 pm starting from May 15, operating up to daily service to Iceland running through October 16, 2012. The airline will again resume the flights from Minneapolis in the spring of 2013.

Apart from Minneapolis, Icelandair flights tickets will also be available for bookings for its new flights to be launched from its newest gateway at Denver International Airport starting May 11, 2012. The return of seasonal flights will be from Washington-Dulles, Toronto and Halifax.

Icelandair has also disclosed that it will be launching a second evening flight with up to 10 flights every week from New York JFK through November 5, 2012, because of the increased demand from New York.
