Icelandair seasonal service from Washington D.C. resumed

Icelandair recently announced the resuming of its seasonal service from the U.S. capital Washington D.C. Icelandair flights from Washington Dulles International Airport will be running through January 8, 2013, resuming early spring next year.

The airline in a statement said that it will be offering up to six flights every week to Iceland from Washington Dulles. Passengers booking Icelandair flights tickets for taking first flight of the season will also get an opportunity to enjoy facilities in the new business class lounge.

According to the airline, the Air France Business Lounge will now be opened for all Icelandair Saga and Economy Comfort class passengers traveling from Washington D.C.

Icelandair also disclosed that it will be introducing a second evening flight with up to 10 flights per week from John F. Kennedy International Airport through November 5, 2012, due to the increased demand from New York. Apart from this, Icelandair is also scheduled to launch flights from Denver International Airport, its newest gateway, from May 11, 2012.
