Icelandair seasonal service from Washington-Dulles commences

Icelandair recently announced it will be resuming its service from Washington-Dulles to Iceland effective March 29 as part of its 2012 schedule.

Icelandair flights will start operations with four flights every week from Washington-Dulles to Iceland. Later, the frequency will be increased up to 5 flights per week effective May 23, 2012. Again, from June 11 the frequency will further go up with 6 flights per week. The service will continue until January 2013 and will again resume in the spring.

Apart from service from Washington-Dulles, Icelandair flights to resume in the spring include Toronto, Minneapolis and Halifax.

Icelandair tickets to Toronto can be booked as the flight commences on March 28. The airline will resume flights to Minneapolis on May 25, while flights to Halifax starts from June 7 this year.

Icelandair also offers service from Boston, New York JFK, Seattle and Denver to Iceland. The passengers are also offer easy connections to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, UK and Europe through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport.
