InselAir adding direct flights to Georgetown from Dec 18

InselAir recently announced it will be adding its direct flights to Georgetown from Curacao effective from December 18, 2014. The additional flights to Guyana’s capital city is aimed at offering better and seamless connectivity to customers traveling from Miami, Port-of-Spain, Las Piedras, Caracas, Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, Bonaire and Aruba.

Jurgen Lippinkhof, InselAir’s Chief Commercial Officer, said that the airline is already providing twice weekly flights services to Aruba from Georgetown. With the addition of two direct flights, the airline will now be operating a total of 4 flights every week.

According to the flight schedule, the airline will be operating flights to Georgetown from Curacao on Thursdays and Sundays per week. The flight will depart from Curacao at 8.15 pm and arrive at Georgetown at 10.20 pm. The return flight will makes its departure from Georgetown at 6.45 am and reach Curacao at 8.50 am. The return flights will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays.

Lippinkhof also said that the airline has decided to continue operating flights to Port-of-Spain from Curacao. The airline will again relaunch its flights to the capital city of Trinidad and Tobago starting from December 15 this year. With the inclusion of Trinidad into its flight network once again, the airline will now be providing connectivity to 20 cities in the Pan American Region.

The relaunch of flights to Port-of-Spain will prove beneficial to customers from Curacao and other destinations including Aruba, Bonaire, Barquisimeto and Valencia. The flights between Curacao and Port-of-Spain will operate thrice weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
