InselAir adds flight to La Romana

InselAir, the flag carrier of Curacao, announced the launch of direct flights between Curacao and La Romana. The flights on this route will commence from July 7, 2014.

The airline will provide service to its 20th destination after the addition of La Romania. This will be the second destination in Dominican Republic. Travelers from other destinations including Bonaire and Aruba can easily fly via Curacao to reach La Romana in one stop. Flights on all these routes will operate only on Mondays.

The non-stop flight on Curacao – La Romana route departs from Curacao at 10:45 a.m. and arrives in La Romana at 12:45 p.m. The return flight will leave La Romana at 01:05 p.m. and arrive in Curacao at 02:25 p.m. The one-stop flight on Bonaire – La Romana route departs from Bonaire at 07:55 a.m. and arrives in La Romana at 12:05 p.m. The return flight will leave La Romana at 01:05 p.m. and arrive in Bonaire at 04:15 p.m. The one-stop flight on Aruba – La Romana route departs from Aruba at 08:25 a.m. and arrives in La Romana at 12:05 p.m. The return flight will leave La Romana at 01:05 p.m. and arrive in Aruba at 04:15 p.m.

La Romana is situated in the south-eastern area of Dominican Republic. This place has many attractions including ‘Casa de Campo’ resort, ‘Guadalupe Underwater Museum’, and ‘East National Park’.
