InselAir Aruba begins flights to Miami International Airport

InselAir Aruba has launched its new flights to Miami International Airport. The flights from Aruba are being operated four times every week. The launch of the new service will bring the airline into direct competition with American Airlines and Surinam Airways.

American Airlines is presently operating 14 flights every week between Aruba and Miami, while Surinam Airways is serving the two destinations with thrice weekly flights services.

InselAir Aruba said that the new nonstop flights from Aruba to Miami will be operated with the help of the MD-83 aircrafts. Frederick Nuboer, Chief Executive Officer of InselAir Aruba, said that the 1,820-km route to Miami is quite significant for Aruba. With the new service, the travelers will now get increased flight options and flexibility with 4 direct flights services to Miami every week.
 
Emilio T. González, Miami-Dade Aviation Director, has also welcomed the new service by InselAir Aruba and is enthused that it has now become Miami’s newest international airline partner. Emilo said that Miami International Airport is presently offering more flights to the Caribbean than other airports in the United States. The new service will be advantageous for the travelers from Aruba to easily connect to the beautiful region of Miami.

InselAir Aruba has been serving 20 destinations across North America, South America and the Caribbean as of 2014. The airline is providing flights services to all of these destinations from its main hubs at Queen Beatrix International Airport and Hato International Airport. The airline also maintains its secondary hub at Princess Juliana International Airport.
