InselAir launches weekly flights between Curacao and La Romana

InselAir recently launched flights between Curacao and La Romana. The weekly flights to Punta Cana from Curacao started operating from July 7, 2014. La Romana wil be its 20th destination. This will be also the second destination of InselAir in the Dominican Republic.

The launch of flights between the two destinations will prove to be a boon for the passengers. According to the airline, passengers traveling from other destinations such as Bonaire and Aruba will be able to conveniently connect to La Romana via Curacao with a shortened transfer time.

The airline is offering introductory airfares for travel on Curacao-La Romana route from both Aruba and Bonaire. The promotional fares will be valid for travel starting from July 7 through September 30, 2014.

A spokesperson of InselAir said that La Romana, which is situated in the Dominican Republic’s southeastern part, has much to offer to the travelers. This beautiful place is renowned for its wonderful golf course, which is presently ranked No. 1 in the Caribbean. The golf course named “Teeth of the Dog” is located within the famous Casa de Campo resort. This fascinating place also has other attractions as well and is the perfect place for surfing and scuba diving.

The “Cara Merchant shipwreck” and the “Guadalupe Underwater Museum” are major attractions for the divers with the crystal clear waters. The strategic location of the airport in La Romana’s northeastern part provides convenient access to all the resorts in the city, and other places of interest like the mesmerizing “Parque Nacional Del Este”.
