Japan Airlines frequent flyer program JAL Mileage Bank membership now 25 million

Japan Airlines recently announced its frequent flyer program JAL Mileage Bank has now got its 25 millionth member registered.

To thank the customers booking Japan Airlines flights tickets and those having JAL Mileage Bank frequent flyer program membership, the airline said that it would be launching a mileage campaign called “Thanks to 25 Million JMB Members!” to commemorate this significant milestone.

Japan Airlines in a statement said that with over 25 million members, JAL Mileage Bank is now the largest frequent flyer program in Japan.

The airline disclosed that it will be conducting a series of other promotions under “Thanks to 25 Million JMB Members!” campaign. The airline will be offering an upgrade from Economy Class to Business Class for its customers booking Japan Airlines flights on international routes, which would be operated with the help of Boeing 787 Dreamliner and select domestic flights, utilizing bonus miles at a discounted rate, for travel between November 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013.
