Japan Airlines to begin codeshare flights with British Airways on Tokyo-London route

Japanese travelers would now get opportunity to book Japan Airlines flights tickets and travel conveniently between Tokyo and London when the airline begins its codeshare flights in association with British Airways.
 
Japan Airlines recently announced it is all set to begin codeshare flights on the Tokyo-London route. As a significant step towards its proposed joint business venture, Japan Airlines would be entering into a codeshare agreement with British Airways and offer flights to their respective passengers between Tokyo and London.

Ever since the Japanese government granted both the carriers antitrust immunity in May, the two carriers have moved ahead and sought to further solidify their relationship. This has allowed both Japan Airlines and British Airways to collaborate with each other, discuss fares and flight schedules, and take effective steps towards aligning their fares on the Tokyo-London route.

The codeshare arrangement would allow Japan Airlines as well as British Airways to market each other’s flights enabling passengers the option to book a return itinerary combining the flights on both the carriers. Currently, Japan Airlines and British Airways jointly have 19 flights every week between Tokyo and London.
