Jet Airways launching Mangalore-Dubai flights from Jan 3

India’s largest private carrier Jet Airways recently announced it will be launching its flights services to Dubai in January next year.

The airline in a statement said that Jet Airways flights would be launched between Mangalore and Dubai starting from January 3, 2013.

By launching its flights between Mangalore and Dubai, Jet Airways will be making extensive efforts to break a 6-year-long monopoly of low-cost subsidiary Air India Express in the Middle East sector.

The airline said that this is great opportunity for its customers to book Jet Airways flight tickets at discounted rates now as the inaugural Mangalore-Dubai flight coincides with the month-long 18th Dubai Shopping Festival which also starts on January 3.

The second largest Indian carrier Jet Airways said that it will be offering eight seats in business class and 162 seats in economy class.

According to the airline, the flight would depart from Mangalore airport at 8 pm and reach Dubai at 10.30 pm. The corresponding flight would depart from Dubai airport at 11.30 pm and arrive at Mangalore next day at 4.30 am.
