JetBlue Airways inclement weather affected customers in Northeast to be waived change fees

JetBlue Airways has announced that it will waive change fees and fare differences to the passengers affected due to inclement weather conditions in the Northeast.

The airline had earlier said that it is ready to waive change/cancel fees and fare differences owing to forecasted inclement weather in the Northeast. This decision of the airline is applicable on customers traveling on January 21, 2012 to/from select cities, which includes Boston, Hartford, New York (JFK and LaGuardia), Newark, Newburgh, Pittsburgh and Westchester County.

The airline said that the affected customers traveling on January 21, 2012 may rebook their flights through January 23, 2012.

JetBlue Airways also said that customers with canceled flights may opt for a refund. However, the original travel must have been booked by the customers on or before October 20, 2011.
