Korean Air A380 flights to Frankfurt to be launched March 25

South Korea’s flag carrier Korean Air recently announced it will be launching its Airbus A380 flights service between Seoul Incheon International Airport and Frankfurt International Airport starting March 25, 2012.

Korean Air’s Airbus A380 will be configured in a three-class layout with a total of 407 seats, the lowest configuration of any A380 operator so far. The double-decker A380 will have 12 ultra-luxurious First Class Kosmo Suites and 301 Economy Class seats on the first floor, and 94 lie-flat Prestige Sleeper seats in Prestige Class (Business Class) on upstairs.

Passengers taking Korean Air flights on A380 will be offered a new and highly enjoyable in-flight experience. The aircraft boasts unique in-flight facilities, such as the world’s first ‘Duty Free Showcase’, and three bars and lounges.

Korean Air in a statement said the introduction of A380 on the Frankfurt route is likely to increase both business and leisure passengers arrivals from China, Japan and East Asia taking connecting flights to Europe.

Currently, Korean Air operates five A380 aircraft to major destinations like New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
