Korean Air becomes official sponsor of 2014 Incheon Asian Games

South Korea’s national flag carrier Korean Air recently announced it has now become an official sponsor of the 17th Asian Games to be held in September 2014 at Incheon. By virtue of becoming an official sponsor, the airline is also ‘Prestige Partner’ of the Games.

With the official signing taking place recently this October at the Incheon Hyatt Hotel, the airline has become the first Korean partner to officially sponsor the 17th Asian Games.

Korean Air has been awarded official Asian Game Partner status as part of the agreement and is also allowed to use the 2014 Asian Games trademark.

The official sponsor status also gives the airline opportunity to attract customers to book Korean Air flights and help contribute to the tourism and economy of Incheon.

According to the airline, Incheon is home to Incheon International Airport and the gateway to Korea.
