Korean Air gets award for being world’s most innovative airline

Passengers taking Korean Air flights have acknowledged that they get a unique flying experience when flying with it.

Korean Air recently emerged as top ranking world’s most innovative airline for the year 2012. The airline was given the award by a popular website airlinetrends.com.

Passengers traveling between Asia and North America via Seoul prefer to book Korean Air flights tickets and fly with it because of the several amenities and unique offerings it provides.

The airline has truly been acknowledged as the world’s most innovative airline as it introduced women-only bathrooms, branded bar areas and a duty free store on its flagship Airbus A380 aircrafts.

Apart from this, Korean Air is also offering unique amenities to its customers, such as women-only lounge and a coat storage service at the Seoul Incheon Airport. 

The airline is also operating its own organic farm at Jeju Island in South Korea. The produce for its organic farm is being used for supplying in-flight meals onboard its flights.

Other airlines to receive the award include British Airways, Delta Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, TAM Linhas Aeréas, Qatar Airways, Virgin America, airBaltic, AirAsia and All Nippon Airways.
