Korean Air to launch nonstop flights between Seoul and Nairobi from June 21

South Korea’s national carrier Korean Air recently announced it will be launching its nonstop flights services to the Kenyan capital Nairobi from Seoul Incheon International Airport.

The airline in a statement said that Korean Air flights will be launched from June 21, 2012. The airline will also become the first carrier to operate direct flights from Northeast Asia to Nairobi, the gateway to East Africa.

The passengers booking Korean Air flights tickets will find it convenient to travel between Northeast Asia and Africa.
 
The airline will be deploying a Airbus A330-200 aircraft with a total capacity of 226 seats to operate flights on the new Seoul Incheon-Nairobi route.

Currently, major destinations in Africa are being served by Korean Air through codeshare partnership with Kenya Airways, a SkyTeam global airline alliance member. According to the airline, passengers making Korean Air flight reservations and fly with Kenya Airways can also earn Korean Air mileage points.

Nairobi to Seoul Incheon

Flight KE960 – Departure: 10.30 – Arrival: 04.50 (next day) – Frequency: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
