Korean Air to re-schedule its Seoul-London Gatwick flights

South Korea’s national flag carrier Korean Air recently announced that it will re-time its flight schedule on Seoul-London Gatwick route.

The Seoul-based carrier said that Korean Air flights will now be moved from a morning to an evening departure on its service from London Gatwick Airport starting from October 30, 2012.

Korean Air flights between Seoul and London Gatwick Airport were launched in April this year. The flights were started to complement the existing London Heathrow service being offered by the airline.

Currently, the customers book Korean Air flights tickets for flights departing Seoul at 1845 and arrival at London Gatwick at 2255. The flights are operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The return flight departs London Gatwick at 1030 and arrives at Seoul at 0525 next day. The return flights are operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

According to the new schedule, which will take effect from October 30 this year, the flight will depart from Seoul at 1530 and arrive at London Gatwick at 1840 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The return flight will depart London Gatwick in the evening at 2040 and arrive at Seoul at 1625 next day.
