LAN Airlines reduces Chile-South America fares by 40 percent

Taking LAN Airlines flights to various South American destinations will now be much cheaper. Chile’s flag carrier recently announced that it is significantly reducing Chile-South America airfares by as much as 40 percent.

The airline has taken this step to aggressively attract passengers and prompt them to make LAN Airlines flight reservations as much possible without ever worrying to pay a big amount out of their pockets.

LAN Airlines by taking this step is trying its best to make air travel a more common method of travel, as well as gain a bigger foothold in the South American region. The airline also wants to promote tourism in the region.

Considering this, the airline has also disclosed permanently reduced rates on routes to Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Brazil.

Nicolas Goldstein, Regional Business Manager of LAN Airlines, said that this step of the airline is a great leap forward so that more people buy LAN Airlines tickets at quite cheap rates. He also said that this is an excellent opportunity to boost tourism in South America.
