Malaysia Airlines introducing twice daily A380 flights on Kuala Lumpur-London route

Malaysia’s national flag carrier Malaysia Airlines recently announced it will be launching twice daily Airbus A380 flights between Kuala Lumpur and London in November this year.

 The airline in a statement said Malaysia Airlines flights on Kuala Lumpur-London route is all set to be operated twice daily utilizing Airbus A380 aircraft starting from November 24, 2012.

Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Malaysia Airlines’ Group Chief Executive Officer, said that ever since the airline deployed Airbus A380 aircraft to operate services from July 1 this year, the response from the customers have been quite overwhelming.

He said that the airline has been greatly encouraged by the success of current daily A380 flight services on Kuala Lumpur-London route. Considering the overwhelming response from the customers, Malaysia Airlines has now decided to replace the existing Boeing 747 daily flights services and make it to double daily A380 flights on this route.

He stated that the start of double daily A380 flights on Kuala Lumpur-London route will be increasing the weekly seat capacity by 16 percent in each direction.
